Level Craft Construction had the pleasure of renovating a stunning 1950s ranch home, adding in unique and personal details while modernizing the space. Boasting 1,570 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this renovated home is located on a corner lot on a quiet street in East Atlanta.
The renovations start at the front door, with a beautiful bright green front door that provides a modern contrast with the grey painted brick and natural stained column.
Stepping through the front door, visitors are met with a fun built-in storage bench and natural shiplap wall made of refurbished wood that separates the entryway from the main living area. The main living area is full of natural light courtesy of an abundance of windows and the open floorplan, which connects the living room, dining area and kitchen.
The Level Craft team chose an all-white paint scheme to further brighten the home and provide a nice contrast to the light wood cabinetry and fun fixtures. The flat panel modern cabinets are topped with sleek white countertops, while a subway tile backsplash continues the white theme throughout the kitchen.
Just off the kitchen is a flexible use space that works for a variety of uses, from a home office or learning nook to a formal dining room. The space boasts built-in bookshelves surrounding French doors that lead to the home’s beautiful, private outdoor living space. A fence with modern horizontal slats surrounds the home, while a deck leads to a fun fire pit, ideal for fall evenings with friends.
On the other side of the kitchen, a sliding barn door separates the owner’s suite from the rest of the home. Inside the owner’s suite, a bathroom boasts a tiled step-in shower and floating double vanity
In addition to the owner’s suite, the home also features two oversized secondary bedrooms and a hall bathroom with a shiplap feature wall and tiled tub.
