Who is the face behind the company? At Level Craft Construction, it’s a cohesive, experienced group of individuals with a passion for creating magic within homes. A 100% woman-owned business, Level Craft works to build, renovate and design homes, and has done so for the past 20 years with the help of a superb team.
Level Craft Construction is composed of just four full time staff members, but employs hundreds of subcontractors and vendors to help get jobs done quickly and efficiently. The full time Level Craft team includes Owners and General Contractors Debbie Hollonbeck and Virginia Van Lear, as well as Project Managers Brandon Sheffield and Stan Bearden. Collectively, our small team holds an impressive 80-plus years of experience in the industry.
Masters at working both individually and as a team, the Level Craft crew takes a unique approach on renovation and building projects. Virginia oversees the beginning stages of construction alongside Brandon. The two work together to ensure the house gets dried in. Afterward, Debbie and Stan take over and manage the roughs and finishes to get the project to completion.
On the front end, Debbie and Virginia are responsible for connecting with clients. The duo interacts with clients, understanding their specific desires for a project, while Debbie manages all the design and finish decisions. Because she is so involved with the design aspect, she has the enjoyment of interacting with clients face-to-face on a daily basis.
While the group has distinct roles and assignments within this business model, all four employees always touch base and communicate to problem solve and manage more effectively.
“We are a team and as such, we are in constant dialogue about each project,” said Debbie. “We value communication, cooperation, problem solving, management, trust and mutual respect.”
The team aspect is important at Level Craft Construction. Collectively, the group shares the same vision and work ethic. Each person strives to complete every project with dedication, care and precision. In addition, every member of the team is highly motivated and an excellent problem solver.
