A 100% woman-owned business, Level Craft Construction is gearing up for several big projects in 2023, thanks to the company’s recent Intown and divisional expansion. To assist with the exciting demand for renovated, revived and newly constructed projects across Intown Atlanta, the Level Craft Construction team recently welcomed Charles Clonts onboard.
During his youth, Charles grew up very familiar with the construction industry thanks to his father’s position as a general contractor. While studying Philosophy and Psychology in college, Charles continued his construction journey, exploring and holding several seasonal trade positions.
Clonts held the title of form carpenter and superintendent in his early days and now serves the Level Craft Construction team as its newest project manager. He has also previously served as an operations manager and in various roles in business development for general contractors. Throughout his colorful career, he gained valuable industry experience working on commercial, restaurant, retail, office and multi-family projects.
Clonts said, “What offers the most inspiration for me is the pride of completing projects that serve the community that I live and work in. Problem-solving is a constant in this business and that keeps me inspired.”
As a project manager on the Level Craft Construction team, Clonts schedules, budgets and manages client expectations on multiple projects throughout the year. This crucial position requires constant communication, coordination from Clonts, problem-solving, and documentation. Luckily, most of his job responsibilities can be conducted onsite, with some office time required for team input and participation.
When asked about the most rewarding aspects of his role, Clonts shared that a happy team, on-budget and on-schedule projects as well as meeting new people across Intown Atlanta keep him motivated.
Clonts said, “The things I stay busy with are the things that inspire me.”
Outside of work, Clonts shared that he enjoys spending time with family, visiting friends and traveling to new places.
